If you've just run a search and BirdDogBot tells you that you've found some number of deals but fewer than that number appear, there may be a number of reasons why this has happened.
The most likely cause of this is because BirdDogBot has analyzed the same property twice. In an effort to avoid having duplicate deals listed in your "My Deals" list, BirdDogBot does not create a new deal. Think of the count of the number of deals being reported as a result for a given search, however this deal may or may not already exist in your account. If the deal does not exist, you can rest assured that BirdDogBot will save it for you.
Here's a few common scenarios you can consider to determine the cause:
- One (or more) of the deals it has found may already be in your "My Deals" list and BirdDogBot may have just updated some information about that deal. These deals will be indicated in a row that is highlighted in blue.
- Depending on how you've set up your search projects, it's possible that BirdDogBot has just analyzed the same property twice. This can happen if your search projects are set up in a way such that you're searching the same area or price range across multiple search projects.
